The Tower of Babel

After a great migration to the land of Babel, the people built a large tower to reach the heavens to celebrate their success. The Tower of Babel was built as a monument for the people and not for God. The Lord saw they felt too powerful and decided to confuse them by scattering them around the world and speaking different languages. God wanted to put the focus back on Him.

What towers have you built in your life before God?

All of the burdens that we deal with on our own in life can create “towers.” Sometimes we take credit for things God has done for us. We must humble ourselves and give God his flowers because He is here to knock our towers down that we build before Him.
